Travellers are students from Gleneagles Secondary College or Fountain Gate Secondary College who are undertaking a subject at Hallam Secondary College. Students from Hallam are also able to take a subject at Gleneagles or Fountain Gate.
Travellers travel by taxi twice in the week for two long periods to the value of a five period subject.
This means that students will access a “0” period at the beginning of the day or a period “8” at the end of the day to make up their time.
Travelling enables even wider access to a student’s program of choice.
Travelling is a significant commitment to a program or pathway. Students need to act responsibly and take the opportunity presented to them with respect. Students who abuse their responsibilities as “travellers” may lose the right to travel.
