The Hallam Secondary College Sports Academy is a select entry program. The Academy recognises the importance of providing students with a fulfilling and challenging education that also allows them to further develop and enhance their opportunities to pursue a career in sport.
Our Sports Academy is an exciting and unique program that promotes school connectedness through sport in a student-athlete friendly environment.
The program is currently built around sports that were identified as an integral part of Hallam and its surrounding communities.
- Australian Rules Football (Boys & Girls)
- Basketball (Boys & Girls)
- Rugby League (Boys & Girls)
- Netball (Boys & Girls)
Students interested in becoming a member of the Sports Academy must go through an interview and screening process and adhere to criteria set by the College and the participating sports body.
Students are required to provide an academic history, sporting background and references to ensure that this is the right program for them before being selected.
Students must enrol as fulltime students at Hallam Secondary College.
The Hallam Secondary College Sports Academy is a fee-based program including uniform.
