On Monday the third of March, the College swimming carnival was held at Doveton pool. It was a great day when the whole school was able to come together. There were many events where students swam with friends to get their house points and overall have a good time. The day was full of fun and success with people dressing in their house colours and different characters from movies or shows with many of the teachers also dressing up.
The events started with people in their year levels swimming to get the points for their house. There was freestyle, butterfly and many more events for students to participate in. The events were competitive, with people cheering on their friends and celebrating wins.
After a lunch break, the relays began and they were so much fun as we got to swim against the teachers. There was a pool noodle race where friends were able to work together pushing a noodle to the end of the pool.
Overall, the day was fun and allowed students to make memories with their friends.
Congratulations to Marram (Red) House for winning the most points.
